So the reason I went to New Mexico was to deliver my inaugural workshop on creativity. Which is a fancy way of saying I went to give a creativity workshop for THE VERY FIRST TIME EVER OH MY GOD SCARY. But in the interests of faking it until I made it, I naturally tried not to hyperventilate in front of people or break out in terror hives.
One of the tools I used to help prepare the workshop–and a resource I recommended for creative folks–is John Cleese’s lecture on creativity. It’s almost forty minutes, but SO WORTH IT.
